Post Date:05/08/2024 9:03 AM

PressurePave work will be occurring in downtown San Angelo this week. Affected roads should be barricaded off by 6 a.m. on their given day. Note that businesses should not be directly affected for more than a day. The project is expected to be complete by Saturday, May 11. See schedule below.

- Wednesday, May 8: Irving Street (from East College Avenue to West River Drive).
- Thursday, May 9: Beauregard Avenue, Twohig Avenue, Concho Avenue (from Irving Street to Chadbourne Street).
- Friday, May 10: Oakes Street (from East College Avenue to the Oakes Street Bridge).
- Saturday, May 11: Beauregard Avenue, Twohig Avenue, Concho Avenue (from Chadbourne Street to Oakes Street).

PressurePave is a multipart single application process that:
a) uses pressure to force liquid crack sealant and waterproofing membrane into all the cracks (large and small) completely sealing the surface;
b) applies a thin mix of rock and asphalt that will level and smooth small undulations in the roadway; and
c) applies a second coat of mix to further improve the driving surface.
