About us

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, infants and young children eat well, learn about nutrition and stay healthy. Help with breastfeeding and accessing health care and other needs is also provided to those who qualify. We serve San Angelo-Tom Green County and all six surrounding counties. We also support foster parents and grandparents, single moms and dads, military personnel and everyone in between.

WIC qualifications

Pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, along with children up to the age of five, may apply for WIC. Medicaid, food stamps or TANF may automatically qualify you and/or your children for the WIC program. If you currently do not receive any of these benefits, you may still qualify using your income. The most recent income guidelines are listed below. Call one of our offices to schedule an appointment. At that time, we will provide you all the information you will need to bring with you.
