Flag placing at Fairmount Cemetery

Sunday, Nov. 10, members of Friends of Fairmount and volunteers will meet in Historic Fairmount Cemetery, located at 1120 West Avenue N, at 2 p.m. and begin placing more than 1,800 flags on veterans' gravesites from every American war, dating back to those who fought in the Texas War of Independence. 

We would greatly appreciate your participation as we cover 57 acres to honor those who have served their county so honorably. Contact Beth Uherik at 325-234-9561 for more information.
