Foster Communications Coliseum celebrated its golden anniversary in 2008, having officially opened Aug. 29, 1958. Located at 50 E. 43rd St., the circular domed arena has permanent seating for 5,000 with the ability to add 2,000 portable seats. The arena floor is 20,000 square feet and can accommodate 122 8x10 exhibit booths.

The multipurpose arena is home to the San Angelo Rodeo, the nation's fifth largest rodeo. The climate-controlled Foster Communications Coliseum is ideal for concerts, ice shows, rodeos, circuses, arena football, family shows, trade shows and exhibits. Its rate structure is affordable enough to host private events and it is versatile enough to accommodate an almost endless number of setups.
