The Facilities Maintenance Department provides maintenance and custodial services to City buildings and facilities, including City Hall, the Community Development Building, the City Hall Annex, the recreation and senior centers, the Nature Center, the Municipal Pool and the Animal Shelter. They provide technical assistance and contracted services to the Railway Museum and the following departments: Fire, Police, Emergency Operations, Municipal Court, Civic Events, Airport, Fort Concho, and Operations.

Facilities Maintenance also provides support and logistics for other divisions as needed, prepares specifications for vendor contracts available to all city divisions.
