Teen Court
What is Teen Court?
Teen courts offer an alternative to traditional juvenile justice sentencing by allowing teenagers to handle their cases among their peers. Defendants can plead guilty or no contest. A jury of their peers then decides on a binding punishment. Currently, municipal court staff are in the roles of judge and attorney.
