Annexation plan

The City does not currently intend to annex any areas that are required to be included in an annexation plan pursuant to Chapter 43 of the Texas Local Government Code.

Annexation program and map

As part of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, the City has adopted a long-range program for areas that have potential for future annexation within the next 30 years. This 2019 update to the Annexation Program identifies those areas within which the City will plan for future growth. In addition, per an agreement with Tom Green County, the City’s subdivision ordinance will apply within these areas, whereas the county regulations will apply outside of these areas.
