Level 1 Pre-Development Meeting Request
A Level 1 meeting is the option provided to discuss potential projects that are in the introductory stages of fact-finding and for which no draft plan currently exists. Think of this as the "Big Idea" phase without detailed, drafted plans. This service is ideal for new or prospective property owners or to conduct discussions on a particular piece of a property or City process with City officials. While customers are welcome to walk in during business hours with questions, this is a pre-arranged 45 minute time slot dedicated to their specific questions, involving representatives from city departments as required. These less formal gatherings must be requested via this online form.
Level 2 Pre-Development Meeting Request
Level 2 meetings are intended for projects which have a detailed draft or sketch plan of the site layout prepared. These are to discuss specifics on your project to identify any major challenges right before submitting to City Staff for official review. Please note: This does not replace the review process and no waivers/support agreements can be offered by City staff in these meetings. Requests for a DRC meeting will be accepted solely from an online request form.
Once submitted, the Development Services will review the information to ensure it is complete and meets the requirements outlined below. Beginning October 2023, all completed requests will be scheduled at the earliest available Thursday that allows at least 2 weeks of staff research and review time. These meetings will take approximately 45 minutes. Each 45-minute time slot will cover a single property. If you have multiple properties, then you will need to complete a request form for each address.
Incomplete requests will not be scheduled until all required information has been provided. Please note, Level 2 meetings require detailed and dimensioned plans to be accepted for staff review.
