Important upcoming dates for campaign finance reports

Jan. 18, 2022 - Semiannual Report [FORM C/OH] is due for all local candidates and officeholders, except for officeholders who do not have a campaign treasurer appointment on file and who do not exceed $930 in contributions or expenditures for the reporting period. The period covered in this report begins on either July 1, 2021, the date of campaign treasurer appointment, or the day after the date the last report ended; and ends on Dec. 31, 2021.

Jan. 18, 2022 - Annual report of unexpended contributions [FORM C/OH-U] is due for all former candidates and former officeholders who have filed a final report and who retained unexpended contributions or assets purchased with contributions. The period covered in this report begins Jan. 1, 2021, or the day after the date the final report was filed; and ends on Dec. 31, 2021.

The Texas Ethics Commission has the oversight to determine whether information provided is complete and accurate. All questions should be directed to the candidate, their campaign treasurer or the Texas Ethics Commission.
